It was the real definition of swallowing-the-bitter-pill because I had bills to take care of yet for several months I was making losses.

I realized that there were many clients in forums and other platforms waiting for a broad entrepreneur to come out and fish them. I decided to embrace different methods of connecting with them;
One of the latest trends of selling yourself to potential clients who in turn will buy from you is through blogging. Being a graphic designer, I definitely needed a blog whereby I could show case my portfolio and also help other in areas of difficulties. The best things about helping other as you blog is the creation of a credible character and this can induce a client to trust you and most likely to purchase your services.
Although I considered that most of my clients would not be in social media platform which by then I disregarded them as places for college kids to hang out, I was proved totally wrong. There are numbers in social media because of the swift of sharing information on the platforms as well as engaging with clients. By regularly sharing and engaging with my followers on social media, I was able to grow big within a short time because many loved my designed and shared them with others hence I experienced tremendous growth within no time.

Initially I started with creating short awesome videos to market my works and they would include a call for action so that I could drive traffic to my blog and maybe make a sale or two. As the traffic of my blog grew I decided to incorporate podcasts so that I could show my followers much of my works. To say that I saw a lot of success through this strategy is an understatement.
